Let's celebrate America with a 4th of July DIY

Happy Birthday 'Merica!!! Here is an oldie, but a goodie DIY...especially because its almost the 4th. This one is SO simple and you'll only need 3 things.

Materials:

American Flag

Nailheads

1 x 1 pieces of wood (This is to make the frame. Make sure you measure the length and width of your flag. You'll need 4 pieces...top, bottom and 2 sides.)

Tools:

Measuring Tape

Pencil

Hand saw or Chop saw

Hammer

Drill

1 1/2 or 2 inch screws (4 of them)

Steps:

1. Measure the width of your frame and cut two pieces the exact same length.

2. Measure the height of your flag, subtract 1 inch and cut two pieces.

3. Screw all four pieces together to make a frame. Make sure you screw the top pieces into the side pieces from the top to avoid your frame being the wrong size. Tip: Pre-drill through the first piece of wood first to make it easier.

4. Once your frame is assembled, place the American flag on top of the frame and attach it using your hammer and nailheads.
